Wendy founded Glam-Granola (www.glamgranola.com)
while writing the chic gift book entitled, "You
Know You're a Glam-Granola Girl If
"
The book celebrates women who are glamorously
holistic. She is also the author of the empowering
children's book, "It's POWERFUL to be a GIRL!"
This is the first book in her children's series
designed to empower young girls by building their
self-worth at a crucial stage of their cognitive,
social, and emotional development. The book shows
girls why they can be proud to be female, and
it has been endorsed by many distinguished women.
Wendy is also an ardent activist.
She has worked with a widely respected women's
interest organization and attorney to initiate
the implementation of laws against the street
harassment of young girls and women. She is most
passionate about the development of emotional
intelligence (the ability to identify one's emotions,
feelings and intentions) in our youth. "Only
when we commit to the development of emotional
literacy in our youth will we have truly begun
our journey towards a more peaceful society,"
says Wendy.
Wendy is also an accomplished
vocalist and songwriter. She received the B.E.S.T.
scholarship from Berklee College of Music, where
she subsequently earned her B.M. degree in Music
Business/Management. Since then her voice has
been heard on NBC, and she is a regular vocalist
at Fenway Park, home of the famed Red Sox. Wendy
is the writer and performer of the Boston anthem
entitled, "You're in Boston," as heard
at Fenway during a history making no-hitter. She
also performed a song on a compilation CD that
was released on the major record label EMI, Japan.
An original song of hers is featured on the debut
CD of Veronique, a finalist from the hit TV show
IDOL, South Africa. Visit www.wendysings.com

talents.
